Time to Update!

Getting a little behind in uploading pictures of the Fam so here goes...

Our christmas Adventures

We took a trip to Grandma and Grandpa Lundgrens ( 8 hrs away on icy roads) so that we could see Aunt Denise and Uncle Jed. It was worth the drive. It had been over 5 years since we saw them!! Ashley and Denise got a long really well. We had some fun Scrabble games, story telling, and lots of food♥



We had one of biggest snow falls that St George has seen. It was fun to have a white Christmas.

Halloween

Ashley is Hannah Montana in case you couldn't guess. Everyone else is self-explanatory. Can you tell who took the picture? Konnor's mask is crooked and poor Drake is getting squished out of the picture by Hannah. I was busy getting ready so there was no supervision involved.
Yes, that is my real hair and yes I did just finish my dinner. As I told Jessi, there was a loose chicken on the run and I was hungry. She wasn't very happy with me and told me to wipe the blood off my face. She said "Next time don't eat the blood chicken":)

We had lots of fun and lots of parties to dress up for. As much as we will miss this time of year, we are so glad the candy is gone!!

We finally got Jess's 3 yr old pictures taken ( only 1 month late). She loves the camera and was wondering why our session was over so soon. She was just getting warmed up. She will probably be our stage child. She loves her ballet/tap class and is eager to learn something new each week. She loves to sing and has a memory like her Daddy so she can sing just about every song she has ever heard. It looks like she may be following in her Grandma Lundgrens footsteps.

10K

Well I completed a 10k race in August with a couple of running buddies. My time was 1:04 (2nd place in my age division) which wasn't too bad considering the terrain. It was held in the mountains @ Pine Valley so we had some steep hills to climb. One of my running buddies wants to run the 1/2 marathon in November. For those that know me, I can hardly pass up a challenge when placed in front of me. So now I'm training for a unbelievable 13 miles. I never would have thought I would even have a desire to run that far!!

Our family is doing well. School is back in session, soccer is back on the schedule and Konnor is playing football this year which is a very serious sport with these coaches!! Karl should be in town more often now which will be a blessing.
